Ingrediants
Dry Team
- [3] cups all-purpose flour
- [1/2] cup white sugar
- [5] teaspoons aluminum-free baking powder
- [1/2] teaspoon salt
Wet Team
- [3/4] cup butter (1 + 1/2 Stick) unsalted
- [1] egg, beaten
- [1] cup milk or cream (or any mix thereof)
Optional
- [1 cup] of dried fruit (Good choices are raisins, cranberries, or cherries)
Instructions
- Heat oven to 400 degrees f
- Use two cookie sheets with silicone backing mats
- Whisk dry ingredients together
- Fold in wet ingredients after mixing
- Fold in any nice add-ins such as dried fruit
- Split up dough into two even parts
- Take each piece and flatten into a circle
- Cut each circle into 8 pieces
- Separate pieces on sheet
- Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown and tasty
